Ferrite Disc Magnets Round Magnet Ø 10 mm x 3 mm Ferrite Y30 holds 250 g

Ferrite Disc Magnets Round Magnet have a diameter greater than thickness, and are available in different sizes. For Ferrite magnets in a cylindrical shape, see our Rods section. These round disc magnets can be easily affixed into drilled holes. The dimensions for disc magnets are measured "Diameter x Height". The discs are magnetised from top-to-bottom through the thickness.

Ferrite magnets can be used in a wide range of applications due to their high coercivity and low cost. They also have good machining properties which allows them to be cut into different shapes and sizes - they are cut with diamond tooling; standard drills and wire spark erosion techniques do not work. Ferrite has an excellent resistance to demagnetisation/corrosion, however care must be taken when handling the product due to its brittleness. Ferrite magnets can be used up to +250 degrees C making it ideal for use in electrical machines. At sub-zero temperatures e.g. less than -10 to -20 deg C, ferrite may start to show a reduced pull force (the temperature and the degree of weakening depends on the magnet shape and is application specific; for most uses this effect does not happen as the magnets never get that cold).

Details

  • REMARKABLY STRONG MAGNETIC POWER - The ferrite magnets are particularly strong (thanks to the use of elementary magnets). Thanks to the rounded corners, it can still be easily removed by hand. The magnets are 100% rustproof.
  • UNIVERSAL MAGNETS - Whether as fridge magnets, magnets, board magnets for school, whiteboard magnets or for the office. The application examples of ferrite magnets are diverse.
  • BEST POSSIBLE HANDLING - Thanks to the rounded shape, the magnets can be easily removed again, despite the particularly strong adhesive force. It is therefore ideal for use on surfaces such as a blackboard, pin board or on the whiteboard or refrigerator.
  • PARTICULAR DURABILITY - Thanks to the use of ceramic, the magnets are rustproof. Thanks to magnetization in a complex anisotropic process, these magnets are extremely durable and resistant to demagnetization.

Magnet force

The forces have been determined at room temperature on a plate in polished steel (S235JR according to DIN 10 025) with a thickness of 10 mm (1kg ~ 10N). A maximum deviation of -10% compared to the specified value is possible in exceptional cases. Value is exceeded in general. Depending on the type of application (installation situation, temperatures, counter anchor etc.) the forces can be influenced enormously.

Classy look and high-quality material

Thanks to the elegant look of our Round Disc Ferrite Magnet, they can be placed in a clearly visible position.
